"We use recycled shipping boxes and packing materials when we can. We encourage you to recycle and reuse where possible. Thanks! " "OUR STORY: Over 47 years of marriage, and owning 4 retail stores as well as several other businesses (truck driving, courier service, event set up, garage door repair, auctioneering) and raising 3 children of our own, plus half a dozen ""foundlings"", my husband and I have collected a LOT of stuff. We closed one retail store over 30 years ago and put the inventory into a warehouse. And we added to that inventory through the years as life circumstances changed. It has been interesting to go through and rediscover so much of what we stored. Penney's Dream is our bridge to retirement and reliving our past as we explore boxes and crates of treasures we had forgotten about! I hope you find our discoveries as wonderful and nostalgic as we have. Of course, the 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren get first dibs! " "Please realize that vintage items are not always perfect. Pictures are taken to show any imperfections or issues. We make every attempt to point out any wear or imperfections. But we are not perfect. We will do everything we can to prevent an issue and work with you if there is one. " Items in original packaging are AS IS. Because we cannot sell the item as NIP, NOS, unless it is packaged we do not have the option of opening and inspecting the inside. NO REFUNDS on these items. Only items that have been misrepresented will be considered for return and/or refund. Only after we receive the item back and have inspected it will a refund be issued. We refund ONLY the cost of the item NOT postage as the shipper does not refund us!! The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
"We will no longer ship to APO/FPO addresses. Sorry, but we have no way to confirm delivery of items once they reach the Military Postal Service Agency and that means we lose our item, our money for the item, the postage fees, and the Final Value Fee. And the MPSA is not responsive to information requests in a timely manner. I apologize for this change, especially since my son is deploying next month. But this has been an expensive lesson and I cannot afford the losses. "
