Quantity: 50 sequins
Colour: Opaque Lilac Purple
Size: 5mm

The first modern non-metal sequins invented were made of hardened gelatin, in the 1930s. They could be made in any colour and could be opaque or transparent.
These are genuine gelatin sequins, they are definitely a bit finicky to use because they will start to dissolve in water if washed (it takes a while: it's kind of fun to soak them and see what happens), for use on non-washable projects only. These are also NOT the edible gelatin sequins being used in baking; the dyes used to colour these are NOT safe to eat. (also they are 90 years old)
