Item details

Carder Chow! A healthy diet of colors, various fibers, and texture is just the balanced diet that YOUR carder NEEDS! (or they've been known to eat fingers for extra protein... just every once in a while. Please note, though, that even if you feed your carder a healthy diet, we cannot guarantee that your carder will not attempt to eat your fingers... which is painful. So be careful.)

This is a little sampler that weighs in at just over 4.5g. A taste of color in Monet Swirl! Two of the colors making up the majority of this sampler are multi-colored while the turquoise is a bit multi-tonal.

C. Chow is made up of short (.5"-1.5" usually) silk fibers that have retained quite a bit of textured but have been carded, lusciously dyed, and are ready to add a bit of POP and texture to anything you wish to card! This is NOT noil. These are clean mulberry fibers that MAYBE have .01% waste in them, but I have yet to find any! These add little streaks of color into whatever you're carding instead of 'sprinkles' like the noil does. They also spin a little smoother than the noil and definitely have way more shine than silk noil. (Don't get me wrong. I LOVE LOVE LOVE a pretty batt with noil in them! I HOARD them! Noil has its place but so does this stuff!)

And as always, these beautiful fibers come from a smoke free, pet free oasis in the scorched state of Texas;) No armadillos allowed inside... we don't even really have them in this area, so probably unneeded info, but now you know. Armadillos stay outside;)

Thank you!!!

I ship through USPS within 3 days of receipt of payment. Usually a Monday/Wed/Friday thing as it would get costly to keep driving to the PO every day :) However, if you're like me and hold your breath by the mailbox when waiting for your packages to arrive, let me know :) I don't want any crafty crafters passing out by their mailboxes from lack of oxygen!
ALSO::: I ship first class to save you money. If you would like insurance on your items, please convo me and I'll send you a revised invoice. Otherwise, I will always do whatever I can to help you find your packages and/or establish their where-abouts, but it is the USPS, so I'm not responsible for lost packages--so far, though, we haven't had a single one!
I do ship outside the states to just about everywhere! And I only charge actual shipping costs! Just convo after completing your purchase and I'll convo a shipping charge to you :)

If you have a question, let's have a conversation and I'll answer almost immediately :)
I expect payment inside of four days of purchase if mailing payment, same day if using Paypal.

Returns & exchanges

Please insure your items and make sure that you ask all the questions necessary. I will accept returns, but I don't refund shipping charges.

I accept custom orders.
