Love the look of vintage enamel flowers but hate the prices? Ever wish you had one of them in a different color? Wish no more!
This comprehensive tutorial will show you how to mix custom colors and glazes in a very simple and direct way - no complicated recipes here! Then we will cut and shape our flowers using inexpensive materials. I also give you alternatives if you don't have many of the materials or tools, because, hey - you're just checking it out, right?
Follow along with me as I make the flowers step by step - including mistakes and how to fix them! You will end up with several very cool pieces to use in your jewelry creations.
This tutorial is the equivalent of one of my four hour in-person classes. Some previous experience with polymer clay is helpful but not essential.
There is a complete list of materials, including optional ones, as well as suggestions, tips, and websites throughout the lesson. There is a page of templates included, and a wonderful list of sources at the end. All of the tools are readily available at craft and art supply stores and online.
There are 18 pages and 71 high quality photos. The layout is more like a magazine article than your standard tutorial. Each step is described according to what you will see in its accompanying photo.
You will need Adobe Reader to open the tutorial. If you do not have the Adobe Reader program, you can download it at www.adobe.com.
