This listing is for one 4 oz. braid of Hand-painted Polwarth wool roving for spinning or felting, dyed in Blue and Grey Sky, a Sky Braids colorway coordinating braid. The Sky Braids collection is a series of colorways inspired by views of Colorful Colorado’s skies: sun, storm, clouds, and brightest days. Each palette groups together the hues of the skyscape, hand-painted on 4 oz. of white Polwarth wool top. Polwarth wool is next-to-the-skin soft, and also easy to spin. Professional dyes and processes ensure soft fiber, consistent colors, and highly colorfast fabrics. In addition to full-colorway braids, there are braids painted in just one or two colors of the colorway (for example: just the sky, or just the ground), giving you the option to extend the colors of your project however you like.
This braid coordinates with the Sylvan Lake Sunset colorway.
From the many colors in the sky in this pic, I picked two blues and and two greys to feature in this coordinating braid. Each of the four colors is painted along a quarter of the length of the braid, softly blending each color into the next: dark blue into light grey into light blue into dark grey.
