This simple kit will help you make a key chain of a classic symbol of Sherlock Holmes. It was created in preparation for the Sherlocked USA convention in May 2018, but now is available to the general public!
Each kit is hand-prepared and packaged, from marking the plastic mesh to winding the yarn. The bobbins are made from cut-up boxes in an effort to reuse before recycling. It includes 2 pieces of plastic mesh; 2 bobbins of black and gold acrylic yarn, 1 split ring, 1 jump ring, 1 steel yarn needle (#16), and a pattern.
If you don't want black or gold, you can choose different yarn colors under the variations.
NOT INCLUDED: - Scissors - Pliers - Specific Instructions on how to needlepoint.
A PDF copy of the pattern will be emailed to you after purchase. The pattern's gauge is 2 st and 2 row = square, so you can adapt it to just about any single-unit assembly craft (such as melting beads). It also includes approximate stitch counts to assist your adaptation efforts in a few common crafts.
PROCESSING TIME: 1-3 days. Custom orders for larger quantities available, please message me for estimated completion time.
I try to recycle shipping packaging as well, so your package may look a little dirty...but please rest assured that it is most likely a reused box!
Items will not be shipped until full payment is received.
Certain custom items are separated into 2 payments. PAYMENT 1: Half of total labor (includes pattern, crochet, and mounting fee). PAYMENT 2: Half of total labor; materials*; shipping*; overtime fee^*
* Determined after completion of project.
^ Overtime fee is ONLY applied if the project is completed more than 1 week after the original estimated completion date, and is charged per extra week (7 calendar days). Days 1 through 6 qualify as 1 week. The fee may apply to all custom projects that extend beyond their estimated completion date.
Returns & exchanges
Patterns are nonrefundable if they have been downloaded. If you have any concerns with your pattern purchase, please contact me BEFORE you download anything.
PAYMENT 1 of Custom Projects is not refundable. PAYMENT 2 is refundable only until the item is shipped.
In the interest of keeping on schedule and avoiding the Overtime Fee, each completed face in a custom portrait gets one rework.
When discussing your custom artwork, please advise me of your availability to respond to emails (daily, 1-2 times/week, etc). This will help me accurately estimate a completion date.
