Description: French Tri-colored, red, green and yellow, 18k gold needle case decorated with classical lobes, swags and festoons of flowers. This piece would have typically been part of an elaborate “necessarie” or sewing case. Marked on the sleeve with a cock’s head the hallmark for Parisian gold between 1809 – 1819. Weighs 17 grams
