Freya Tool Kit with detailed instructions for the production of drahtweb jewelry like necklaces or bracelets (also known as Viking Knit or Viking knitting).
The Werkzeuset consists of: a masssiven Ziehbrett made of robust plastic (hole diameter 4 mm to 12 mm), the Web or knitting rod made of plastic (diameter 10 mm), a round, 10x perforated stainless steel armature plate, a detailed, color-illustrated Step-by-step guide in German language with extensive length tables to determine the length of the wire mesh to be woven/knitted on the rod and a case for storing the individual parts.
In the manual is a web link to a detailed tutorial (for right and left-handed) with video on Wire weaving, as well as design tips for exceptional trinkets in the drahtweb technique.
With the Ziehbrett, Webbodys can be produced for necklaces or bracelets in diameters from 12 mm to 4 mm. Depending on the hole end diameter, soft copper, aluminium or steel wires can be used from 0.25 mm to 1.0 mm.
You are welcome to obtain further information on wire weaving with the Freya Drahtweb tool under the hotline provided in the instructions.
