Item details

Keep your thread snips (orts or bits, whatever you call them!), or even pins or bobbins neat and contained at your stitching place with this Origami open-top box. Made of either durable Yuzen Washi or mulberry, this is the same paper that Japanese people use to make every day working accessories and containers. It is almost fabric-like in texture and durability; very long-lasting and only softens with age and use.
When open, the dish measures about 3 1/2 inches square and 1 inch deep - just right to collect snips and bits and keep them contained. If you are stitching away from home, just fold the dish down on itself with your snips in it and slip it into its protective bag until you can discard them. The Snips Dish sides fold in on themselves to collapse flat, and stores in its own protective 3x5 zip-top bag to stay secure in your stitching bag.

Available colors and patterns will vary. You're welcome to inquire if specific colors are available; otherwise we'll pick one for you.
