Decyl Glucoside is an all nautural, easy to use, biodegradeable, non ionic corn based surfactant. Perfect for any job where you need a nice, all natural soap to clean with.
Decyl Glucoside is a fatty polyglycoside surfactant prepared by reacting a cornstarch glucose /sugar with a C6 - C16 natural fatty alcohol. Decyl Glucoside is a nonionic surfactant. It can function as either a primary or secondary surfactant in a variety of personal care as well as other cleansers. It provides excellent stable foaming and is easy to formulate with.
Clear Golden, Viscous Liquid.
Due to its mildness and great foaming properties, Decyl Glucoside is recommended as a primary or co-surfactant. It contains no solvents or hydrotypes. (the pH of the unadjusted, in situ material is 11.5 to 12.5 (very alkaline) and will typically be adjusted when formulated to a finished pH of 5.0 to 7.0 in personal care products.

Take a look at the ingredients in top quality shampoos, body washes, shower gels, facial cleansers, natural cleaners, laudry soaps- they often contain decyl glucoside as either a primary or secondary ingredient. Use it with Cocamide DEA and/or Cocamidopropyl Betaine, or other mild surfactants like sodium lauroyl lactalate - or by itself.
