This delightful card features a vintage image from my own personal collection of old valentines. The image on this card depicts a clever little dachshund who is standing upside down on a yellow ball. Behind him is a big red heart that says, "I'd Try Any Trick To Get a Valentine Like You!" The image is from a card I received when I was in the first or second grade, in the early 1960s, making this image around 50 years old. I have done some restoration on the image to remove stains and wrinkles. This image was originally a die-cut, shaped card, I have printed it on an acid and lignin free, white notecard. The card is blank on the inside for your own Valentine message.
The perfect Valentine for your favorite dog lover!
The card measures 4.25" by 5.5" and comes with a matching envelope. The card and envelope will ship enclosed in a protective cellophane envelope.
It's hard to find Valentines like these anymore!

Shipping & policies
Unless otherwise stated, I ship all items by USPS First Class mail with delivery confirmation (tracking). The only items that don't ship with tracking are items sent overseas, and small items like ACEOS and Bookmarks. I always try and ship within 24 hours of receiving an order, but this is not always possible. If there is going to be a substantial delay (more than 24 to 36 hours) I will notify you. If you need an item quickly, please let me know when ordering and I will see what I can do to accommodate your request. If you need something by overnight mail, let me know and I will adjust the shipping cost accordingly.
Sometimes the actual shipping cost comes in a few cents under what I charge, sometimes it goes over. I have tried to offer shipping costs that I feel are fair and account for the cost of the post office's tracking service, the packing materials and the time it takes me to pack the item safely. Whenever I ship something and find that I have overcharged you by a dollar or more, I will refund you the amount that you were overcharged. When the shipping goes over what I have charged, I absorb that cost and take it out of my earnings.
