Use these Endless Hoops with Raindrops Charms to create earrings that you can change with your mood. Made in the USA, they measure 18mm in diameter - just over 5/8". Sterling Silver.

Pull them open, slide on your Raindrops charm and push the thin wire thru your piercing. Insert the thin wire back into the tubular hoop to create a secure, clean look.

These can be oxidized to my blackened finish and hand polished to a slight sheen for $2.00 more. Please convo if you'd like the listing adjusted.

How should I care for my jewelry?

For your reference, the following care instructions are printed on the back of our "logo tag" included with every jewelry purchase. For more extensive info, please scroll down to the ~ Jewelry Care ~ section.

* Store flat, out of direct sunlight and away from heat.
* Wipe clean with soft damp cloth.
* Never apply hairspray or perfume while wearing jewelry.
* Do not use metal cleaners or tarnish removers - they can damage pearls and gemstones.

What is 14K Gold Fill?

14K Gold Fill is a layer of solid 14K gold that has been bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal - usually brass. Gold filled products wear like solid gold at a fraction of the price. This also means that it will scratch like solid gold so care should be taken in storage - separating jewelry pieces or storing them in a soft cloth or jewelry bag is recommended.

How is Rose Gold Fill made?

Rose Gold Fill is made the same way as Yellow Gold Fill except solid 14K Rose Gold is used as the outer layer. Rose Gold is made by combining copper with yellow gold.

What is the difference between .925 Sterling Silver and .999 Fine Silver?

.925 (or Sterling) Silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% alloy - usually copper. .999 (Fine) is 99.9% silver.

Are your products nickel free?

We have just begin to list a few items that are advertised as nickel free and this info will be in the description. That said, most of the items are not guaranteed to be nickel free BUT you are less likely to have an allergic reaction if you observe the following:

1. Avoid costume or flash plated jewelry. Costume, also referred to as "fashion" jewelry, is usually base metals that have been plated with a very thin layer of gold that may have a nickel additive. This thin layer will wear off over time thus exposing the wearer to the base metals.

2. Buy recently manufactured Sterling or Fine Silver Jewelry. Most Sterling Silver produced today is no longer made with nickel largely due to the ban of nickel in jewelry by the European Union in 2000. That said, anything labeled as "nickel free" is still allowed to contain .05%.

3. You wear 14K Yellow Gold Fill and 14K Rose Gold Fill. If you can wear 14K Gold without issue than you should be able to wear 14K Gold Fill because any nickel (if present) will be sandwiched between the gold and will not come in contact with your skin. Note: Due to the nature of how 14K White Gold Fill is made, it is not recommended for people with Nickel allergies, like myself.

4. Keep your jewelry loose and dry. Jewelry needs air space to breathe so do not wear tight jewelry. Keeping your jewelry dry is especially important as wearing metals on hot days, or profuse sweating while wearing jewelry, may cause metals to leach out.

Are your gemstones genuine? natural?

Nearly all of my gemstones are "mined gemstones" which makes them genuine and natural, the rest are lab grown.

Corundum quartz occurs in nature as a brown stone. It is then grown in the lab under carefully controlled conditions to create lab sapphires and rubies. Some people would consider them to be genuine gemstones because they are identical in chemical composition and have the same refraction as mined gemstones; they are considered to be perfect. But one cannot say that they are 100% natural as they did not fully occur in nature.

~ Jewelry Care ~

* Store jewelry flat, out of direct sunlight, and away from heat. *

Some stones, such as Kunzite and Rose Quartz, will fade if left in direct sunlight for lengthy periods; heat will dry out pearls. Avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent stones from cracking.

* Clean by wiping gently with a soft damp cloth after each wearing. *

Or, try Sunshine ® cloths for sterling silver to clean and polish without scratching. We also like 3M ® High Performance Cloths for cleaning and polishing gold fill, gold vermeil, gold plate, and sterling silver. Not only are they readily available at your local supermarket, they're washable and reusable.

If the need arises, you can swish jewelry lightly in a solution of mild soap (Ivory or Woolite) and warm filtered water, rinse well, and air dry completely before storing. Jewelry strung on silk should NOT be submerged as the silk could stretch and/or become weakened. We don't recommend using ultrasonic cleaners. Did you know they can damage stones such as Peridot?

* Last on, first off is recommended for all jewelry. *

It is especially important for gold vermeil/plate, pearls and soft stones, such as turquoise - by not exposing jewelry to hairsprays, perfumes, and lotions you eliminate the need for heavy cleaning and polishing and prevent metal discoloration. Over time, this could greatly affect the life of your piece.

Remove jewelry before bathing, swimming, or doing chores with chemicals.
Chemicals like chlorine and detergents can harm stones and/or discolor metals.

24K Gold Vermeil and 24K Gold Plated Brass: In addition to the above tips, care should be taken not to expose these products to high humidity or heavy sweating. Wiping with a clean soft cloth, to remove oil and dirt, is recommended. Glass cleaner can be used to provide added luster.

All gold will scratch if not stored properly. To prevent scratches use jewelry bags.

~ Additional Tips & Info ~

I carefully hand make each piece of jewelry with love and care. I also hand select beads for color and quality. Gemstones are usually cut in India and have very small bead holes. This requires the use of very fine wire for wire-wrapping or cable for stringing. Please handle these pieces as you would any fine piece of jewelry. Should you break your jewelry, we will gladly repair it for a minimal charge which will be determined at the time of inspection.

Gemstones and Pearls are sometimes enhanced to improve their appearance. Common enhancements include heat treatment, irradiation and dyes. As a general rule we stay away from dyed beads but in certain instances, ie. rose quartz and garnet, it is not always possible. Please note that when we do choose to buy dyed beads, we only buy those that are permanently dyed to avoid dye transfer.

Sterling Silver will tarnish. Tarnishing is a natural process caused by oxidation and can easily be removed by rubbing the piece gently with a soft polishing cloth. Note that polishing cloths with rouge may scratch pearls and gemstones. Metal polishes and/or tarnish removers - can also damage pearls and gemstones as well as remove oxidized finishes found on Bali sterling.

Prevent tarnish build-up by polishing regularly and storing in a cloth sack or box with tarnish inhibiting strips. We do not recommend using zip top bags to store pearls or gemstones - these are natural products which need to breathe.

Gold-fill will scratch just like solid gold - care should be taken when storing to extend the life of your jewelry.
