This is a digital file
Candria is specially designed for a workshop true lace. The shawl is worked from the neck down and the border is later knitted on.
Yarn: MC: 228 yrds/210 m CC: 174 yrds/160 m in fingering weight Sample is made in Kidsilk Haze from Rowan.
Needles: US5/3.75mm circular of length 80 cm/ 32 inch or other size to obtain gauge.
19 sts and 22 rows = 4 in /10 cm in pattern stitch, after blocking.
Directions are given for 1 size
120 cm / 47.2 inch wide and 60 cm /23.6 in long at center.
To enlarge the body keep repeating rows 1-8 of chart B. To complete 1 flower pattern you’ll need 0.47 gr (that’s aprox. 4m/4.5 yrd)
Number of flowers multiplied by 0.47= total grams you’ll need. Keep in mind that you also need some yarn for the ending
For the border: for every 6 sts of the body you’ll make 1 repeat of the border pattern. For 1 repeat you’ll need 0.35 gr (that’s aprox. 3m/3.25 yrd)
Total sts devided by 6, then multiplied by 0.35 = total grams you’ll need.
