The knobs range in size from 1 1/4 to about 1.50 inch (38mm) in diameter. The retail price of my handmade glass cabinet knobs start at $40 each. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy little baubles of art for a special price. The cost for these 6 knobs is 120. HALF PRICE!
All Glass Knobs and drawer pulls are made by me one glass knob at a time using the ancient technique known as lampwork. I have been making glass knobs & drawer pulls using the lampwork or flamework technique for many years. Can't find just the right knob for your kitchen, bath, funky piece of furniture or antique table? I love the challenge of making custom glass knobs according to your specifications!
The lampwork technique I use includes the use of Venetian, American, Japaneese and German Glass and often with inclusions of silver and goldstone to name a few. Glass knobs are made on a durable stainless steel threaded insert designed by me and manufactured in the USA under the trademark MAKE A KNOB Kit. For easy installation each Glass Knob is delivered with a screw and plastic washer to protect your wood surface.
There is a link to a video on my ABOUT page showing you the process of the ancient art of lampwork.
The fee I have posted is for first class USPS shipping IN THE USA. Upgrades are available. As far as the actual shipping cost goes sometimes the posted shipping fee is a little bit more than I pay and sometimes a little less. It averages out. I do not have to make a profit on shipping fees.
If you would like to include insurance on your package I can easily arrange this for you. I have never in 23 years of shipping glass experienced any breakage or lost articles. Adding insurance is a personal preference - let me know prior to your purchase and I will be pleased to add insurance for you. I will calculate the fees and add to your invoice.
OVERSEAS shipping? Of course. I will charge you what Etsy postal rate dictates.
Regarding policies, custom orders, and shipping rules etc. My attitude is to treat others the way I like to be treated. Do you ever visit a store with a posted return policy that is completely unacceptable? Me too. Know what I do? I turn around and leave premises. How about sales associates at stores that choose to fight with you? Ever run into that? Not here. I promise I will never fight with you. Life is too short!
