Such a lovely 1940s shirtdress pattern! This New York Pattern issue has topstitched pleats in the skirt front, and scalloped edges on the pockets. Make it up with short sleeves (shaped to echo the scallop details), 3/4-length sleeves, or long sleeves gathered to bands at the wrist. The neckline can also be scalloped, for a soft and pretty touch.
Sweet and dainty in a floral print, elegant in a plain silk crepe, nostalgic in a fine cotton lawn or sateen - the choice is yours!
Bust 32" Hip 35"
The pattern is pre-cut (unprinted), and appears to be in factory folds! The envelope (and New York Pattern envelopes are the BEST - i love the design and the art and the printing) is split at the top; there are a number of tiny edge tears and some corner wear. Tucked into a fold of the instruction sheet is a clipped newspaper photo of one Bob Barlow, football kicker, under the heading "Scores for Aggies" - i hunted and hunted to see when he played, but couldn't turn up anything, much to my dismay... (if you do, let me know - i'm curious!)
I generally ship orders within two weekdays of receiving payment. Insurance is not included in the cost of shipping, so if you would like to add insurance, please convo me before checkout. Unless you make a particular request about shipping carrier, i will ship via the most convenient trackable method. I do reuse/recycle packaging whenever possible.
Patterns are shipped in a polyethylene sleeve, and backed with cardboard, to minimize any risk of damage en route.
I accept PayPal (credit card or electronic check), Etsy's direct checkout, or money order. Prompt payment is appreciated; if i haven't heard from you after three days, i'll send you a reminder. If payment isn't received within a week, i will cancel the sale and relist the item.
I'm happy to consider trades with other sellers - please convo me if you're interested.
Returns & exchanges

I hope you'll love everything you buy, but if not, you can return items in original condition. Just contact me within a week of receipt, send the item back, and i'll refund your purchase price.
On patterns: i try to note conditions as well as i possibly can in the item description, but if you have questions, feel free to send me a convo. All patterns are checked before i list them. If a pattern is in factory folds, i will not pull it apart to count the pieces, but for all others i count the pieces for completeness. Anything that is missing or torn or altered will be noted in the item description.
