Pueblo Bonito Art Yarn - 201 yards - 2 Ply - Handspun - Knitting - Crochet - Weaving - Mixed Media - Fiber Arts - Textile Arts, etc.
Pueblo Bonito is a beautiful handspun 2-ply of merino and silk. It was spun and plied by me on my Ashford Joy, and handpainted by widdershinwoolworks in her #341a and b dyelots. The colors are gold, orange, a very light slate blue to gray, and a silvery lavender. The sheen of the tussah silk provides a subtle luster, while also allowing for drape and texture. It has been soaked in Eucalan and a small drop of lavender oil (to prevent attracting insects) while setting the twist. Excellent choice for knitting, crocheting, weaving, mixed media, or felting projects.
This listing is for 2 skeins. My bobbin was not able to continue the bulkiness during plying, so 1 skein is 155 yards, and the smaller skein is 46 yards - making a total of 201 yds.
Spun in a pet and smoke free environment.
Hand wash with cold water and wool wash. Hang or lie flat to dry.
80% Merino, 20% Tussah Silk
