Item details

This listing is for a pattern only, in PDF format.

A super easy pattern to turn your old t shirts into beautiful shawls! All you need is three old t shirts, and a size S crochet hook. Short instructions on how to make t shirt yarn (tarn), and instructions for two sizes of shawl are included. For more information on making tarn, you can see a tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltEE9cEQRBg. If you make your own tarn, you will need to cut the strip 3/8"-1/2" wide, or you can purchase t shirt yarn here on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/search/handmade?search_submit=&q=t+shirt+yarn, you will want to use 4wpi or 6wpi yarn if you purchase ready made yarn.

This pattern is in PDF format, you will need to have a copy of Acrobat Reader to open, read, and print this pattern. This software can be downloaded for free at get.adobe.com/reader.

This pattern is an original design by Rhea Allais, and may not be reproduced in any way except with permission from the author (me). You may use this pattern to create knitted works for sale.
