Item details

I am a weaver by profession and have produced handwoven stoles, scarves and yardage for many years. I have 9 floor looms in my studio and I work on a full-time basis at this beloved, ancient craft. I have named all my looms and the handwoven fabrics that come from each loom have unique characteristics.

My handwoven fabric have been popular for jackets and coats (lined and unlined), summer tops, shirts, skirts, summer wraps, table runners, hand towels, pillow covers , scarves, etc. All of my yardage has been put through machine washing and machine drying to bring about maximum shrinkage. I display each fabric in their resulting 'natural' state, without ironing, so my buyers can see the easiest-care appearance of the texture. In some cases, ironing may be desired to bring out added luster, some irredescence or a more formal result. All fabrics come with a content and care tag attached, so you will have confidence in caring for the creation that you make from it.

The Yardage pictured above is from my loom named Margaret. The design is an 8-Harness Huck Lace called and it's from my Event Fabric" series . The fiber content of this yardage is rayon with some cotton, silk and linen and the measurements are 33.5 inches in width from selvedge to selvedge and is 4 yards, 1inch in length.

PLEASE NOTE: The prices marked on this listing is the cost of the entire amount of yardage that is pictured. I can sell a minimum of one yard. If you want only one yard, please convo me for detailed information for that amount. So, check your patterns and make sure you get ENOUGH!

Shipping & policies

Estimated Shipping
Shipping to
Zip or postal code

I ship via the United States Postal Service. This is my only option, since I live in a small Village in a remote area. The buyer will pay for packaging and shipping costs. I will insure each package at my (seller's) cost. I will communicate when I have shipped the package and, please confirm having received your package, so we can together track it's progress and success in arrival.

I prefer PayPal, but can also take money order or personal check. I have also joined the Etsy program called direct checkout that allows payment by credit card without going through PayPal. If it is agreed that I will accept your personal check, I will not ship until your check has cleared my bank. This takes patience on your (the buyer's) part, but I'm trying to be flexible in payment methods.

Returns & exchanges

If not completely satisfied with one of my items, I will give a complete refund of the purchase price after the item has been returned and has undergone inspection to make sure the condition is as sent. This refund will not include the shipping costs and the cost of returning the item will be paid by the buyer.

Additional policies

Non-domestic orders can only be paid by PayPal unless otherwise agreed upon via prior communication between the buyer and the seller. All customs charges/import duties will be paid by the buyer.
