Item details

This is a crochet pattern available as a PDF document. You can instantly download it through your Etsy account or I can email it.

With this pattern, you or your crocheting friend can make this fun sweater vest which features open sides and a big cozy funnel neck / turtleneck. It's a favorite Rosetung knitwear design that stitches up fast with chunky / super bulky yarn.

It is one size only! It fits small to medium, and can easily be made longer- but not necessarily larger. The pattern includes a very simple guideline as to how to add length.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner-intermediate (involves front-post stitching in addition to basic crochet stitches)
YARN NEEDS: Approx 325 yds super bulky yarn

It's totally possible to get it done in a weekend, and even a day for seasoned crocheters with the free time. It's my most popular seller here in my shop and customers confirm it is easy to read and understand.

I am happy to troubleshoot with you if you run into technical issues.

** The pattern is in English / traditional US crochet terms. Not available in other languages or as a visual diagram.

I know some folks worry that wool will be too itchy especially for a scarf that wraps around the tender skin of the neck. I can tell you I have sold actually hundreds of Cloud scarves over the years and have had a very happy and loyal clientele via Etsy. They have stated over and over again in feedback that my scarves are surprisingly soft and cozy. It may be hard to find the reviews of my scarves in my feedback because I have taken a hiatus from the scarf production in recent years; and my crochet pattern sells and gets reviewed so much more frequently. So I hope to provide some assurance with this statement. Some people have even bought 4 or 5 or 6 different versions of the Cloud scarves! (BIG BIG THANK YOU TO MY REGULARS!) Also, as I state in my listings, I myself am very sensitive to textures, so I will only work with yarns that I would enjoy on my own skin. I also favor materials that are natural and renewable.
