These sweet capris have been on my mind for a long time. I've finally produced a pattern for them in sizes 2, 4, 6, and 8. And, bonus, they are stitched from the top down, so you can make them as long, or as short, as you want! The yarn used in the pattern is Rowan's RYC Siena, 100% mercerized cotton. This yarn produces a fabric with the thickness of denim, but it is soft, and has just a bit of shine. It is machine washable - just what you want for children's clothing! My daughter loves them! I'm sure that a young lady in your life will too!
Now simplified and professionally tech-edited!
You may substitute yarns, but remember that it is best to use a yarn with the same gauge, weight, and fiber content. Also, whichever yarn you use, remember to check your gauge carefully for best results.
Remember, this listing is for a .pdf file of the pattern, and NOT for a finished pair of capris. Please keep in mind when purchasing .pdf patterns, hard copy patterns, or kits that these patterns are protected by copyright laws. This means that you are permitted to make hard copy patterns (i.e. print the file) for your own use. You can even let friends borrow that hard copy from you, as long as you, or they, do not make an additional copy for them to keep. It is against the law, and a really crummy thing to do to me, to make copies for others, either digital or paper. This also means that it is against the law, and also a really crummy thing to do to me, for you to put a copy of the pattern on the internet somewhere, such as your blog, Facebook notes, personal website, etc. Please treat me the way you would like to be treated and do not steal my intelectual property.
Also, my patterns and products are not intended for your commerical use, or anyone else's. In other words, I do not grant anyone permission to distribute my patterns to anyone else. The copy you purchase is just for you.
