Item details

This pattern is most versatile, and produces a beautiful, feminine shrug in a yarn of your choice.

Wide, 3/4 length crocheted sleeves and a circular shawl collar add elegant drama to this knitted whisper of a shrug if made in fine kid mohair. The shawl collar can be worn loose and open or closed with a brooch or shawl pin.

Pattern is for sizes Small thru X-Large and includes directions for adapting the pattern to all knit or all crochet, as well as how to adapt the pattern to the yarn, gauge and stitch pattern of your own choosing.

Suitable for a beginner with some experience making scarves, there are no limits to the possibilities with Shruggity Shrug!

Pattern as shown in the first picture uses 3 skeins (50 g, about 1500 yds) Claudia's Hand Paint Kid Mohair, Size US 8/5mm needles and US G/45.mm hook.

The second and third photos show Shruggity made in fingering weight sock yarn and the third and 4th photos are made in fine weight rayon yarn, with the body made on a knitting machine and the ruffle crocheted by hand.

Patterns are non-returnable and non-refundable, so please choose carefully.
