This Blue-Faced Leicester/Texel wool is the perfect choice for the beginner through advanced fiber artist. It is a joy to spin and is also perfect for felting projects. It's very soft and full of loft so it can be used for "next to the skin" projects!
Processed as combed top, this wool has had mostly all vegetable matter (VM) and weak/short fibers removed. This top isn't a blend of 2 different breeds, the sheep it came from was a cross of the two. It was produced by sheep at Lilac Corners Farm in Lehigh County, PA and processed by Zeilinger Wool Company in Michigan.
This fiber is natural colored and very dark brown with some white fibers through it. Some also refer to this color as black BFL.

To wash your handspun yarn: hand wash in cold water, squeeze out excess water, spin in salad spinner or washing machine (optional), lay flat to dry.
This is so pretty, I'm going to felt some tonight. It's so soft too :)
