Item details

This listing is for the PATTERN ONLY for Shelly Fingerless Gloves.

The partial open-work of these Shelly Gloves makes them delicate and warm at the same time–a perfect little extra layer against the cold. They reach almost to the elbow and leave your fingers free for driving, computing, shopping . . . crocheting! These gloves come together really quickly and provide some stretch, making them perfect for gift-giving.

These gloves are made completely in the round and are shaped with decreases. They are constructed to be a one-size-fits-all type pattern with some stretch and give. However, we’re all different sizes–decrease or increase the size of your hook to achieve different results!

After cleared payment Etsy will send you a link to download the pattern, to the e-mail you have listed on your Etsy account. It will arrive as a two-page, high-resolution PDF. You may sell items made from this pattern, but you may not distribute this pattern in printed or digital form. By purchasing this item, you are agreeing to all copyright and policies outlined in the Policies section of this shop.

These gloves measure about 11.5 inches long, 9.5 inches around at elbow end, and 7 inches around at hand opening (with a half inch to an inch of stretch and give, if needed).
The stitches used are chain, double crochet, and slip stitch (in American terminology). I consider this to be an advanced beginner/intermediate pattern because of some special stitch techniques and decreases (however, written instructions are provided for all). As usual, my door is always open if you have any questions!

HOOK/YARN: 5.5mm, Medium (4)

Payment via PayPal is preferred. This shop is also now accepting gift cards and credit cards via direct checkout. If you require another form of payment, simply send me a message and I will be happy to discuss it with you.

Etsy policy is that payment is required within 3 days. If you need some extra time to send your payment please contact me.

I will only reserve items for 3 days that have been placed in someone's shopping cart, but have not been paid for. Please convo me to ensure and agree upon a longer hold time if it's needed.

Additional policies

My door is always open for questions or conversations!

All patterns and digital downloads are copyrighted by Speckless/Heidi Nieling. Buyer is not allowed to resell, distribute, duplicate, or share these patterns or downloads in any printed or digital form. These items are for personal use only. Commercial use of these patterns is not allowed. Buyer IS granted permission to sell any handmade embroidered products (wall hangings, totes, shirts, etc.) or crochet items made from these patterns.

If you are selling an item made from any of my patterns, I surely would appreciate a little shout-out!

All patterns sold here assume that you have at least basic knowledge of starting, finishing off, and basic crochet stitches. I do welcome questions, but YouTube or Google may be able to help you faster and more thoroughly than I will be able to via convo or e-mail!

Crochet patterns are rated by one of four skill levels here (Beginner, Easy, Intermediate, Experienced), and skill level is displayed toward the end of each listing.

Embroidery patterns are not transfers -- you must transfer the embroidery pattern yourself. There are many and varied methods for this, as a Google search will show you! My personal preferred method is a soft, sharp pencil and a bright window. Embroidery patterns are the line art only for the pattern (no stitch instructions, color suggestions, etc.).
