Item details

Whooo doesn't love owls! (sorry... but the bad owl joke is required, here)

Unless you've been under a rock, adorable owls have been popping up everywhere- and now it's time for you to make your own cuddly guy! Meet Nelson... he's cute, likes staying up late at night (but promises not to be noisy) and he's 7.5 inches tall when completed. Make him as the perfect present for the child in your life- or for yourself (yes, even grown-ups need cuddles in their life)!

Love this guy, and want a whole lot of amigurumi patterns at one great price? Check out our crazy bundle deal:

Nervous about crocheting a stuffed animal? Don't be! This pattern contains detailed instructions and lots of photos. Also, you can visit my website ( for tips & crochet videos. AND you can always email me for help! You can do it! Nelson is an intermediate pattern, and will be emailed within 24 hours of purchase (although, usually sooner).

To complete this pattern, you will need:
* size H (5 mm) crochet hook
* 4 colors of worsted weight yarn (less than a skein of each): white, brown, orange and yellow
* polyester stuffing
* two 12mm black animal eyes
* tapestry needle

If you are making this animal for a child younger than 3 years old, we recommend embroidering or crocheting the eyes.

Want to make a great stuffed animal, but owls aren't your thing? No worries! Visit to check out all of my patterns- you're sure to find the right cuddly friend for you!

The photography is courtesy of Carrianne Photography, who always takes amazing baby photos! Visit her at:

Interested in purchasing a finished toy (instead of the pattern)? No problem! I'm happy to crochet & sell completed items... just convo me!

This is such a great pattern. I made mine larger for my toddler nieces to hold easier. So many variations you can Do! Thank you!

This owl worked up very easy. The only thing I would change is the picture. It makes you believe that the owl is going to be that big.

Received pattern right away. Although, when using to create an owl, they did not come out as shown in picture. Mine came out more squatty and two separate sizes even when using the same yarns and products.

I want you to have a cuddly animal at the end of the day, and that means helping you... you never know, it could be a typo that's totally my fault :)
