Item details

Flower Picking Pinny PDF sewing pattern.

This beautiful apron was inspired by the long sleek designs of the 1930's.
A circular flounce adds a touch of elegance as well as whimsical charm.

The 'FLOWER PICKING PINNY' is one of my all time favourite garments to wear.

Dress it up over a pretty petticoat or sling quickly over Jeans. Even though it is in one size only, the garment is loose fitting, especially around the hips and would be quite easy to make slightly larger if you so wished.

PDF PATTERN IS ONE SIZE ONLY
Bust: 91-97 cm (36-38")
Hips: 99-104 cm (39-41)

I like to use linen and chose a medium weight embroidered fabric which produced very pleasing results.

- You will receive a 36 page PDF pattern and instructions with inspirational images. Simply print out the pages stick them together, then cut or trace out.

NOTE: Listing is for PDF pattern only for 'Flower Picking Pinny' and does not include additional garments worn underneath it.

Fabric needed - 2.75 metres (3 yards) is a nice sufficient quantity.
Bias binding - 8.5 metres (9 1/4 yards).

Well now, I couldn't have your other lovely patterns without getting this one too! If I hurry up and get busy I'll be dressed for the summer. Thank you. ;^)

Can't wait to get sewing.

I purchased this with another pattern at the same time. I was disheartened to see this pattern was not as well put together as the first. The pattern pieces when printed out wasted extreme amounts of paper, when pieced together the lines started to "drift" away from each other. That being said the pattern is sweet and flattering, the design simple and elegant.
