Only a quilt with trees would be right for a special place in my home. After sketching designs and searching for patterns I found a photo of a quilt made in the late 1800's. The quilt maker most likely used a template to cut each leaf but that doesn't work for modern quiltmakers - including me.
Create your forest using strip piecing methods in this easy to follow pattern with color photos. The blocks are sewn by machine - even the tree trunk section. A perfect project to use up your stash - just cut strips from a selection of colors and prints.
The pattern includes instructions for making a 68" x 68" wall-hanging or 92" x 92" bed-sized quilt.
This is a .pdf pattern with immediate download from Etsy. No more waiting for the pattern to arrive, wondering if it was lost in the mail, and best of all - no postage.
