THIS LISTING IS FOR A PDF OF A PATTERN ONLY
YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THIS CAPELET

Hi everyone, this listing is for my most requested item, the bennington capelet (R). It's crocheted in the round with a super chunky bulky weight yarn and works up very quickly with a large size "S" crochet hook. You'll be ready to wear this in one day!

A customer favorite...
"Easy to understand pattern, loved the final product!"
"This is a nice pattern and really will fit a variety of sizes without having to change anything."

A beginner's understanding of the following stitches is necessary:
Slip stitch
Single crochet
Double crochet
DC 2tog (decrease: double crochet two stitches together)
2DC in same stitch (increase)

Finished Measurements:
24” from top of cowl to bottom edge. Cowl is 10” down and 23” around. Body is 14” down and 46” around without stretching. It is pictured on a size 8 dress form and as you can see it is very roomy.

Pattern variations included:
In addition to the straight edge bottom, I have included instructions for a scalloped edge bottom as well. Sometimes we all need a little ruffle! Inside these instructions you may also choose to make this capelet without the cowl part - it's totally up to you!

I have also included the use of a pretty inexpensive yarn you can find in any Michael's store. No fancy-schmancy pricey yarns are needed for this project, but I will tell you that if you ever have the opportunity to splurge on some hand spun yarns, please do so. They are ALWAYS worth it, especially when you want to treat yourself, or give a special gift.

I love this capelet and make it all the time. I have carefully reviewed this pattern, but if you see any errors feel free to let me know and I will revise. To read this PDF pattern you will need Adobe Reader, please visit www.adobe.com for a free download.

I am always around for any question (and chatting!) so feel free to convo me if you need help. We all need a little help sometimes. I also encourage you to watch crochet videos on You Tube. I've learned so much from all the talented people out there.
