Additional policies

// GIFTS //

If your purchase is a gift, no problem - all domestic orders come wrapped in tissue and ribbons. I no longer wrap in tissue and ribbons for international orders, to decrease customs inspections delays. However, if you'd like wrapping for your international shipment, just let me know!

PLEASE let me know that it's a gift! If you'd like me to include a card, please also let me know (no additional cost). But you DO need to let me know the following details: recipient's gender, the event, and what to write on the card. If you want me to ship directly to the recipient, please alert me, so that I will know to not include the invoice and price with the scarf.

I no longer accept custom orders. I have very limited time due to a demanding "day job" with a long commute, and a very busy Phydeaux design schedule.

// FAQ's //

My most frequently asked questions are from other sellers or those thinking about selling their designs, asking for advice. I'm sorry that I don't have the time to provide detailed advice and instruction to everyone. I highly recommend reading Etsy's seller's guide:

I'm also asked to share my sources for undyed yarn, dyes, commercial yarn, etc. I'm sure you'll understand that after months (and sometimes years) of searching for sources that I'm happy with, I'll decline to share that information.

I'm also asked to share the source for my beloved dress form, which I'm also going to decline, because trying to remain unique and original is so important to me.

My patterns are my own original designs. I spend time and money in developing, testing and revising patterns. I don't grant licenses for you to sell my patterns - or the finished knits from my patterns - on Etsy. (Of course, you may sell finished knits using my yarn or buttons.) You are not licensed to sell your finished knits online, in person, in boutiques, etc. I am the sole licensee and copyright holder to my designs.

Your order constitutes your agreement with Phydeaux Designs' terms of use, which is as follows:

Phydeaux Designs patterns are licensed for personal use only: you may make for your own wear or for gifts, but not to exhibit as your own design and not to sell the finished items.

I'm always interested in wholesale! Please contact me via Etsy Conversations or email for wholesale queries and terms. I no longer accept consignment orders.
