We offer a personal wrap for your personal gift. Standard cutting boards are wrapped in foam, tissue paper and a kraft box. Blocks and other items are wrapped in the same interior items but in a white box.

We include a personal gift note. Please leave the note instructions with your order.

All cutting boards are HAND WASH ONLY Cutting boards DO NOT stand up to dishwasher use at any time. If oil or a wood conditioner is not used after regular use and washing, the board could possibly crack, warp, or fray. We cannot refund or replace a board because of improper care. If you were given the board as a gift, and the giver did not include the care instructions with your board, please contact us and we can email them to you.

Standard packaging is a foam sleeve around the board with a care instructions card included and sealed with a sticker. It is shipped in a box that bears our logo. We do not include receipts, but we do include a packing slip. We do offer the option of adding gift wrapping on your purchase for a minimal fee. Because of time and materials, it is an additional charge. We do honor all gift note requests.

Each design has personalization (first and/or last names, initials, dates, etc). Checking out, the area that says, “Optional Notes to Seller.” is where you will put the details for the design you purchased. Designs are AS SHOWN unless you have made custom arrangements with us and paid a custom design fee in addition to the order. "Design shown" includes format, layout, and font selection (Including "Est." when shown). If a request to change a design is different than what is shown in the listing, it is our discretion as to the layout and the outcome. Notes that do not follow the design, or requests for additional lines are also at our discretion.

If the tracking number shows the item delivered, but you don’t have your order, please contact us ASAP. Renters, please check with your front office or managers office. A lot of times, this is where packages are delivered for security. Once confirmed your item is missing, we will file a claim with Fed Ex. It is imperative to file this claim within 30 days of shipment. Beyond 30 days, Fed Ex will automatically deny any claim. If Fed Ex approves the claim, we will replace and ship the lost item. For damaged items: Take pictures of the damage. Send us the pictures with your order number to our email: engravemylife at gmail.com. A replacement will be engraved and shipped within 48 – 72 hours of notification.

The sooner you realize this problem, the easier (and cheaper) it is to fix. If the item has not arrived to it final distribution point, we can call in a change of address. We are charged a $10 change fee, which we pass on to the customer and must be paid immediately. If the item is already on the truck, out for delivery, we cannot make a change in time. If the item is returned to us, we charge a $15 return shipping fee and a $15 reshipping fee; because that is what we are charged. If the address is incorrect but is an actual address (former home, etc) and it is delivered to that address never be seen again, unfortunately a new item will have to be purchased. There will be no refunds of either the item or the shipping charges.

Mistakes happen. We know this, but a new one free of charge isn’t possible, we apologize. If you provided us the incorrect spelling, then our “oops” policy is to provide you a discount code to use for the order of a replacement.

Our cutting boards, blocks and anything we sell made out of wood; is completely natural wood. The "character" of natural wood is that each piece will vary and have it's own unique look. "Perfect" unblemished wood is not possible unless it has been altered in some form. We don’t use fillers, stains, or any kind of chemical seal as they are not food safe. Each piece is uniquely different from the others. Engravings are burned into the wood, not printed or stained. Each piece will differ in the burning process as well due to grain, density, age, etc. TaylorCrafts will not be able to replace an item for something as simple as color variation.

Most orders will engrave at 5 business days, meaning orders placed on a Monday engrave the following Monday, then ship on Tuesday, etc. This can change due to high volume periods (Christmas) and out-of-stock items, which we do our best to limit. Shipping takes about 4 - 5 days to reach you. (via FedEx Ground) We do have a 2 day express shipping option you can choose at checkout. This will only affect shipping time though, it will not change our lead time. Orders will be typically be received between 11 - 14 days from the date of the order. (Unless you have purchased the 2 day shipping)

    Well worth the extra couple of bucks. Love the satin ribbon. This will be a gift and didn’t want to have to worry about a box and gift wrap... this is simple and perfect.
