Waistband is contoured at the center front with a slight rise. Skirt is trimmed with rick rack or small braid. It closes at the back with hook and loop fastener.
Featuring darts on both the front and back, the Victorian suit jacket contours to the torso. Sleeves have a slight gather at the shoulder or can be sewn with tiny pleats for variation. They have an undersleeve just like most traditional suit jackets. Trim is sewn around each cuff. Jacket is trimmed with rick rack or small braid which borders the darts or can loop around the back neckline. A high rounded collar tops the jacket, is bordered at the top with trim, and hook and loop fastener closes the jacket in the front. Decorative buttons are placed along the center front.
Included in the pattern are two Blouse patterns. Blouse 'A' features a straight line front yoke, 3/4 length sleeves, and gathered lace at the neckline. Blouse 'B' features a V shaped front yoke, full length sleeves and a high rounded collar. Made with lace sleeves and lace yoke, this blouse captures the beauty of the Victorian period. Blouse pieces can be mixed to create several styles. Both blouses close at the back with hook and loop fastener.
