Looking out across a loch, surrounded by mountains is a little croft house with a red roof. This knitting pattern was inspired by that house which is located on the Applecross Peninsular, West Coast of Scotland. Make this knitted croft house as a child’s toy or add extra weight and use as a bookend.
This PDF Pattern will be available to download immediately after purchase.
The pattern prints out over 7 pages and includes detailed instructions throughout to complete this project.
Knitting Skills Required to make; Cast on, cast off, knit stitch, purl stitch, knit two stitches together, pass stitch over, make stitches using backward loop method, working with changes of colour.
I'm an experienced knitter and this pattern is a bit complex. I think it's the way the pattern is written. I will figure it out!

Really pleased with the knitting pattern for the croft - thanks for sending it so quickly, and nice to have direct contact with Julia too. Plan to knit a small Manx village over the next few months that will eventually be on show in a miniature exhibition....so will send you a photo when it all gets finished. Many thanks, Jean.
