Item details

Providing 16 pages of text with 68 illustrations, this bead pattern offers instructions that are easy to follow yet full of helpful tips. My beading design for my Color Passages bracelet uses tubular, uneven-count peyote stitch. Using my bead pattern, you play with color while learning to create smooth gradations of color. First you learn some basics about the three characteristics of color—hue, value, and gradation—and how these qualities affect your beadwork. Then you learn to peyote-stitch the cord, creating smooth gradations over its length. You also learn to create the beaded end cap and the decorative toggle for the clasp. (Instructions only, PDF format)

For this bead pattern, you will need to purchase:
• Japanese Size 11 cylinder beads
• Fire-polished crystals or equivalent beads
• Cord
• Needles
• Thread
