This PDF format tutorial will guide you step by step through how to make your own one of a kind collage doll head and bust to costume and embellish yourself. I will walk your through hair, makeup, costuming...the works! Make a collage doll with open or closed eyes. You will create a doll and a collage background--the full piece is about 10" square, but you can make it in any size!
No prior experience is needed to enjoy and follow the lesson!

During this 3-part workshop, you will learn to create a custom doll face and upper body (templates are provided!). Learn to prep and decorate an inexpensive canvas for your doll. Learn how to alter and securely attach dimensional elements to create a custom collage like no other. The doll and her collage are made to fit within a depth of less than 1 inch--perfect for mounting on the wall!
I will show you step by step how to:

☂ Learn to make a face with open or closed eyes
☂ Face templates included--no drawing skills needed!
☂ Learn to costume and wig your original doll
☂ Learn which paints, glazes, glues, mediums and materials will work for dimensional collage
☂ Learn to pull collage elements together so they look like they belong
☂ Create an art piece unlike any other!
☂ Apply the skills you use in this workshop to your doll making, dimensional art, assemblage or collage!
The guide is over 90 pages long with over 160 full color photos and descriptions to walk you through every part of making your doll and her surrounding collage. You can print out select pages or the entire document--it is up to you!

Doll Project tutorial files are sent as PDF files in email attachments mailed to you within 24 hours of purchase (See Shipping Policy). Save the files to your computer so that you can open them anytime whether you are online or note. To open the PDF files, you will need free Adobe reader, available here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ You can also save the PDF files to your smart phone or tablet. Many people choose to print the tutorials and save them in binders. You can print as little or as much of the tutorial as you desire.
