This striking freeform cabochon is cut from a rather interesting orange chalcedony. The orange and yellow inclusions in the base chalcedony create some extremely beautiful, feathery effects in color and pattern.
The cab is 34 mm long and 22.5 wide. The bevel is 3 mm, and the peak of the dome is 6 mm.
The back of this cab is polished, as seen in the 4th photo. There is a solder bevel on the back edge.
There is a small chip on the *bottom* edge, seen in the 4th photo. You cannot see this from the top.

Each work you see in this shop was made by Beth and I. Some components may be purchased, the metal is milled into sheet or wire for us, etc. But it's our hands that manipulate and form. We're glad you appreciate our art, and all other work done by artists and craftspersons. Thank you for supporting small businesses and our dream.
