Item details

This item is a PATTERN for a crocheted horse and/or unicorn hat, and does not include an actual hat.

The pattern includes detailed pictures and step-by-step instructions to make a horse and/or unicorn hat in baby, toddler, child, and adult sizes, and is suitable for an intermediate crocheter. Sewing is required using a sewing needle and thread (a sewing machine would be easier but is not required).

The pattern is written in American crochet terminology. Stitches you will need to complete this project:
Ch, sl st, sc, dc, and hdc (half double crochet).

Materials you will need for hat:
Size G / 4.0mm crochet hook
Worsted / Aran weight yarn in desired colors
A small amount of stuffing for unicorn horn (no stuffing required for horse hat)
A tapestry needle for sewing parts together
A sewing needle and sewing thread (or sewing machine)
A small strip of fabric (2 inches by 6 inches at max, helps secure mane strands)

*Pattern is in PDF format, available for immediate download via Etsy's digital file system.

I am available through email or on Etsy to answer questions or provide pattern help if needed.so, I'm on Ravelry, so if you make the hats, add your project to the Ravelry project page and post pictures. I'd love to see what you come up with!
