PDF SEWING PATTERN!!!! PDFSEWING PATTERN!!!!
This PDF pattern is for a zippered cosmetic bag with an attached brush roll. It's made using Heat n Bond Iron On Vinyl (very easy to use!). The outside is quilted with straight rows of stitching; the brush roll is sewn together using 1/2" binding/bias tape (that you'll make). You can use Velcro rather than twist locks. You can purchase the twist locks online at Purse Supply Depot.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: fabric, iron-on vinyl, twist lock, batting, fusible fleece, wax paper, walking foot.
You'll be getting the pattern and five supplemental handouts: How to make 1/2" Double Fold Binding/Bias Tape, How to Sew 1/2" Double Fold Binding/Bias Tape, How to Insert Twist Locks, How to Insert a Zipper, and How to Make a Zipper Template.
This project is a bit advanced, so you want to be comfortable sewing. There are a lot of little steps, so I provided a project overview to make it easier to follow.
I've made a lot of these and have taught this as a class twice; as a class, it took about five hours to complete....but sometimes the talking takes over the sewing, so it may not take as long. When you are making the bias/binding tape, take your time. I encourage you to make a sample and save it on the page provided. Every one of these made in class were beautiful and well-made!
THIS IS A PDF SEWING PATTERN NOT THE ACTUAL ITEM!

On occasion, my cat(s) hang out with me. Although I keep things clean/neat, a stray cat hair might show up on your pillow cover and/or bag tag. But other than that, there are no funky smells or weird things to worry about.
