Large wooden spools, approximately 2 3/4" x 1 1/4" diameter with center hole of 5/16". (The center section of the spool can accommodate ribbon up to 2" in width).

Natural wood - easy to die, cover with paper, paint or decorate for craft projects. Or fill them up with your loose ribbons for display. :) The tapered body allows for additional thread, twine or ribbon compared to a standard style spool.

A set of 6 wooden spools; ribbon sold separately. This listing is for empty spools.

    Received them promptly, but they were smaller than I expected. However, the product itself is well made, and I have found a use for them. Will make them into holders for notes.

In order to keep our shipping prices low, most items are shipped via USPS First Class mail in the United States and USPS International First Class to other destinations. US Priority Mail will be used when required (by weight).

We try to keep shipping prices as low as possible while shipping as quickly as possible. Shipping calculations do not just include the actual cost of postage, but also packaging, labor, and handling and the cost of packaging materials. If you feel there is an issue with shipping charges, please ask us in advance of purchase so that you have all information needed to make your purchasing decision. If you require an alternate form of shipment (UPS, FedEx, etc.) please let me know in advance and we will obtain a quote. We retain proof of shipment for every package, but we do not add signature confirmation or insurance for every package. If you would like to add signature confirmation with package tracking or insurance to your order, please let us know in advance. Shipping charges will be adjusted to include these optional items or shipment via an alternate carrier at your request.

International orders are gladly accepted. I mark all items with product values; customs charges (if applied) are the responsibility of the buyer. Please provide a telephone number to be used with international shipping labels. International First Class shipping times can vary greatly - 6 days to 30 days is typical. Priority International shipping times are posted by USPS as 6-10 days typically. I am happy to adjust your order for International Priority - just let me know in advance and I will make posting adjustments for you and bill the balance due.

International shipments may be subject to taxes; customs and other taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser. We will claim the value of your package on the customs declaration form as "merchandise". Our prices do NOT include any import duty and GST/VAT assessed. Please contact your local customs office to determine in advance whether your items are subject to import duty or GST/VAT.

PACKAGES ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY INSURED FOR LOSS OR NON-DELIVERY. We gladly ship to all international destinations. Our posted shipping charges are the International First Class shipping rates and most packages shipped via international first class to international addresses arrive safely and within 5 weeks of shipment from our Texas, USA location. LOST PACKAGES ARE RARE, but on occasion, the postal delivery system will misplace a package. We always retain proof of shipment, but once the package leaves our shop, we are not in control of the transit times or delivery. You may choose insurance to protect against loss if desired. We do not purchase insurance on all packages, but it is an option available to you. If you would like to protect against loss of your package by the postal service, please select insurance in advance (PLEASE ADD THE NOTES AT CHECKOUT; OUR PACKAGES GO OUT QUICKLY AND WE LOOK AT CHECKOUT NOTES WHEN SHIPPING). We require full value insurance (the cost is usually $2.50-4.50). We will claim the full replacement value of your package on the customs declaration form. If you choose to purchase insurance, it is typical that we must wait 45-60 days after shipping prior to placing a claim, to allow for delayed delivery times. If you are purchasing from our shop, you are agreeing to the above conditions. We cannot self-insure shipments to international destinations. We retain proof of shipment to prove our packages were delivered to the United States Postal Service for processing and we can provide this information to you as needed. If case of non-delivery by your country's postal service, you MUST purchase insurance if you would like coverage for this type of loss. PLEASE INQUIRE in advance of payment and shipment. We do not provide for loss or damage of packages unless you have purchased insurance.

We are sorry we must adopt this policy, however we are a small business and incur the shipping charges + product costs every time we ship. If you are concerned with loss of your package or product due to a postal service error or non-delivery by your postal service, it is best to pay for insurance (average cost $2.50-$4.50 per package). You will typically receive a shipping notification via email when your order ships. This email is automatically generated by the Etsy system to reflect the address that was given to our shop within the Etsy transaction. If you have asked for an alternate address for shipment, the alternate address will not be reflected in the notification messages. As part of the notification, a "tracking number" will be listed. Please note that this is not a live tracking number, but a number assigned to confirm shipment delivery. It will notify me of delivery only when the package arrives at its destination. If you will require live tracking for your package, please let me know in advance; this service can be added at an additional charge. International order location updates will only be reflected until the packages leaves the United States (typically at the post office point of origin and the international hub departure). At this point, we only receive delivery status once the package has been delivered. We are unable to live track packages unless you have chosen an expedited method of delivery, such as FedEx or UPS shipping. If you require shipping via these methods, please notify us in advance so that we may obtain a shipping quote.


PayPal is accepted for all orders. If you are paying by e-check, please note that PayPal places a hold on your funds (usually 3-8 days) and items will ship only after PayPal has released funds.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Returns are gladly accepted for items that are not food-related, (food-related items include food safe bags, utensils, ice cream cups and drinking straws - not a complete list). If you change your mind, just return the item to us in unused condition. Please return the eligibile item(s) to: InkScissorsPaper | RE: (Your Etsy Order Number) | 902 13th Street | Blanco, Texas 78606. When the unused item is received, you will be refunded the item total returned product amount (gross product purchase amount less shipping charges) less a 15% restocking fee or we will credit the returned product item total amount to another order (the restocking fee is waived in this case).

The buyer will bear the cost of return shipping of the product. The original shipping amount will not be refunded for items returned, as the expense was incurred when the item was originally shipped to the buyer.

If you are purchasing items that are customized, we are not able to accept a return. For items stamped, tied or otherwise semi-customized, a restocking fee of up to 50% may be applied to your order. Many of our items require our time to produce just for you. If you change your mind, we understand that this occurs, however, we may not be able to return the full purchase price as we may not be able to re-sell your items. (This also applies to packages that have been returned due to incorrect addresses, refusal, unclaimed or due to expired forwarding orders). Thank you for understanding these terms. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to ask in advance! We want you to be happy with your items and we do provide samples at no or low cost so that you may assess whether the items will work for you in advance of purchase.

If I have made an error in my listing or shipped the wrong item, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can make arrangements for the return of the product.

If we receive a return package, we will contact you immediately. If we have made an error in the printing of your shipping label address, we will re-ship to the correct address at no cost to you. If you have indicated an incorrect shipping address in the checkout window, please notify us immediately via Etsy conversations. Please do not send emails to our published email address; we do not check emails as frequently as we check Etsy conversations and it is possible we will not see you notes in advance of shipment. We ship our packages quickly, so it is important to notify us immediately in case of an incorrect address. If you do not notify us of an address change via Etsy conversation and your items is shipped to the address posted in the transaction, we are happy to re-ship the items to you. Actual shipping charges will apply and we will add a listing to the shop for the charges for reshipment. Thank you for your understanding.

Invoices are not included (we like to cut down on paper prints for customers who do not require receipts)....please go to the "purchase" section of your account, where you can print a copy of the receipt if needed.
