Discos is a peyote stitch disc shaped beaded bead tutorial with step by step instructions and 17 process photos. A sample page is pictured above. This is an Intermediate skill level project, but Advanced Beginners with a working of knowledge of Circular Peyote Stitch should be able to accomplish it.

The finished beaded bead is 15 x 8mm. The 12 x 4mm base bead for this project is not widely available but you can purchase them here in my shop. I have them in 2 finishes:

The pattern, once learned, is very adaptable and variations can easily be made using ordinary washers purchased at any hardware store. See the last picture above for examples of variations.


Materials you will need are:
size 15 Japanese seed beads
size 11 Japanese seed beads
size 11 Delicas
0 or B Nymo (or other fine beading thread)
size 12 beading needle
base beads (as described above)

    Fabulous tutorials with clear instructions, guaranteed to get your creative juices flowing. Having great fun experimenting with colours. The pictures of finished beads don't do them justice. They are even better in the flesh.
