This pattern is for a classic shirtwaist dress shown in three different fabrics. The shirtwaist dress style spans decades and always seems to make up belonging to whatever time period you choose.
You will note that your choice of fabrics, collar/cuffs and belt details create very specialized looks. The tri- views show just how very different your creations can be.
This pattern may not be for the beginner as there are no drawings in the instructions; only well-written directions and the usual pattern pieces. If you have the assistance of an experienced seamstress, you will probably be successful.
I have a background in design, dressmaking and tailoring. When my little granddaughter, Sydney, asked for a doll that was 'easy to dress', I pulled out an American Girl catalogue, she selected Kirstin, and I was off and running. So a few years and many patterns later, here I am anxious to share my wares with you.
Try this little 'old favorite' pattern---you'll love it!
