Hot Pink Vintage Synthetic Fabric - Mid Century Textile - Arnel Polyester - DIY Supplies - 1960s Flower Power- Mod Sewing Material - Yardage
This is a very popular polyester print fabric from the 1960s but was discontinued. It is called "Arnel" and it is a synthetic fabric that predated the polyester fabrics of the 1970's.
It is a very fluid fabric with a nice sheen and a visible fine weave that reminds me of fine whale corduroy yet much lighter. The print is a flower power 1960's bold hot pink outlined in charcoal against a white background.
I measured this yardage to be approximately 24 X 38 inches. Enough to make a bit of something fun!
It is in vintage good condition but it is from the end of the bolt . This has some funky spots that don't lay out smooth which should be okay after a proper laundering and maybe needs to unwind with a cool iron setting. It seems to have been stored a very long time.
This price is for the entire yardage. I would prefer to sell it that way.
