********************************************************************************************************
This listing is for a digital tutorial PDF download that you will be able to download directly from ETSY just after purchase, not the finished coat or hoodie shown!! ( You aren't receiving anything in the mail)
********************************************************************************************************
There is only one tutorial, and the photos shown with this listing are just examples of what you can make. (if you're thinking you might make a coat too, go for the coat tutorial (it includes how to make a hoodie as well!)

This tutorial Explains:
-What you need to get before you start (Details on what types of materials to use where, and what to avoid)
-A detailed listing of all the pieces you will be cutting, where to cut them from, and how big they should be
-How to sew it all together with a picture by picture explanation as you go though the booklet
Twirling!

I give you tons of color photos (since that's how I learn and understand things the best) along with written dialog. Since everyone is different, I give you starting measurements for most of the pieces and then let you know where to adjust for your own personal size and taste (since no two birds are alike :)).

There is no cutout pattern to use, since I don't use one, and don't think anyone else who makes these in bulk does either, you just cut as you go, that's the fun of making a coat, there is so much room for play :)

I also am available to answer any questions you have along your sweater coat/ hoodie journey!

This tutorial is intended for those who have worked with a serger or sewing machine before, I dont teach you how to use the machine, just sew the coat :) however, I invite anyone who is determined to give it a try, I attempt to make the tutorial as simple and expletive as possible. There are pictures of each step and I show the actual sewing of the coat in the photos.

You will need:
A serger (though if you have a zig zag stitching machine, you are able to get somewhat of a similar effect, though you will use many spools of thread and it will take you much longer than any times I quote in my tutorial (which explains use with serger)
4 Spools serger thread
Approx 15- 20 Sweaters for a full size coat,
10 or so for a smaller one (pixie style)
5-6 for a hoodie

People who purchase this pattern you may sell items in your own shop, I just ask that you give a link to my shop in your listing to share the etsy love :)
Visit my shop and see my other great up-cycled items. I sell many arm warmers and coats, like you see in the pictures.

Additional policies

My items are hand made and I take special care to ensure they are of the highest quality.
All fabrics that have gone into creation of your pieces have been laundered prior to use.
Please make sure that you DO NOT Place your items in the wash unless I send you a note with your item that they are washer safe!
Most contain wool which will shrink! To keep your items looking their best you should carefully hand wash cold and lie flat to dry. So many different knits and fabrics go into these pieces that you can never be sure what might continue to shrink.

If you do decide to throw yours in the wash it is at your own risk!
