A crochet pattern from the 1930's to make this lovely Cottage tea cosy that will grace any table for afternoon tea! Roses round the door and smoke rising from the chimney, enjoy your own version of a 1930´s tea party when you have made this charming cosy.
With its very own thatched roof and hosts of blue delphiniums this cosy is the very epitome of charm when tea was always in china cups with a home made cake or two ..... aaaahhh.
This pattern is for crochet using crochet thread No 5 and a vintage No 12 hook. 7 sts to 1 inch.
It measures 12 inches across the base but can be altered making more or less chains. The cottage has four sides for you to decorate with flowers and shrubs.
From my own vast collection of vintage patterns now out of copyright and in the public domain. All my patterns have been re-written or re-worked to allow for greater clarity than the original, they are not simple scans unless stated.
In past times many patterns only gave the briefest of instructions and methods of work. Where needed I always include extra information to help you understand and clarify the "recipe"?
Please note you are purchasing the pattern only and not the original or the item shown.
You are free to use the pattern to make items to sell, but not to sell the pattern.
All patterns will be sent to you soon after payment has cleared by email delivery.
