Item details

As seen in Beads and Beyond magazine April 2012 issue.

Monet Blues Mix is a set with a dreamy watery floral feel, inspired by my visit to Giverney last Easter. The set consists of 6 small simple beads in speckled shades of toning magenta, light violet and emerald green layered on pale opaque turquoise, minty green and pale blue (2 of each base colour). I love the way the base glass colour has separated to make lighter shading around each speckle of colour. These beads would be perfect with a pretty floral dress or top.

This set of beads is made to order or already available as a stock item so the beads you receive will not be the ones in the photo above and will vary slightly in shade, patterning and size due to their individual handmade nature and the base colour glass I use, each set is truly unique.

Please allow 5-7 working days before despatch for me to make, anneal and clean them. You may even get them quicker if I have them in stock!
Please note you will only receive one set.

6 beads
Made on 1.6mm mandrel.
Bead sizes approx. 12 - 14mm
Temporarily strung on tigertail with matching rocailles.

All my beads are hand crafted by me in my West Sussex studio in the UK. They are then kiln annealed for durability and cleaned for your immediate creative use. Your beads will arrive presented in a gauze bag.

We make every effort to reproduce bead colours as accurately as possible, whether they are photographed in daylight or artificial lighting. Differences may occur due to colour and brightness set-up on individual computers.

Additional policies

All of my beads and jewellery are fully guaranteed. If one of my beads is faulty I will replace it but I cannot take responsibility for breakages of beads or jewellery that occur through wear and tear, misuse or mishandling.
My original lampwork beads are made of glass and as such should be handled with love and care. Whilst I have taken every care to anneal the beads, it is still possible that they could be damaged or cracked under certain circumstances, for example sudden sharp impact or dramatic temperature changes, or if not handled properly. Should any glass beads become cracked or damaged please discard as injury may result.

Always keep glass beads out of the reach of small children for safety (accidental damage or they may present a chocking hazard).

Phew, we got through that then, I hope you're still awake, I'm not sure I am!
