The Donegal Cap was released in 2011 and the Ice Hockey Skates in 2012 and now include some improved techniques and photos. The patterns are like e-books because they are very detailed with separate instructions for each size and plenty of pictures to demonstrate some of the techniques used.

Sizes:
Infant Newborn to 3 months
Infant 3 to 6 months
Infant 6 to 12 months
Toddler 12 to 24 months
Children 2 to 4
Children 4 to 6
Preteen/Adult Small
Adult Medium/Large

Skill level: Beginner who is able to crochet in the round and read patterns

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (#4)

Hook: G hook (4.25 mm)

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Decrease single crochet (dec sc)
Double crochet (dc)
Double crochet two together (dc2tog)
Single crochet (sc)
Slip stitch (slst)


Ice Hockey Skates description:

Sizes:
Preemie to Newborn – for even the littlest hockey fan but not a lot of room to grow!
Newborn to 3 months – for tiny feet and some room to grow as well!
3 to 6 months – the most popular size!
6 to 12 months – for the older infant who is not walking yet!
12 to 24 months – for bigger feet who are walking around … bladeless booties!

Skill level: Advanced Beginner who is able to crochet in the round and read patterns. Sewing is required to assemble the booties.

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (#4); Red Heart Super Saver recommended

Hook: E/3.5 mm, F/3.75 mm, G /4.25 mm or H/5.0 mm depending on the size.

Chain (ch)
Back post double crochet (bpdc)
Half-double crochet two together (hdc2tog)
Single crochet (sc)
Single crochet in back loop (sc-blo) or front loop (sc-flo)
