Step 1: Measure your wrist
Use a measuring tape to measure your wrist. Make note of the measurement; you'll use it to determine the size of your bracelets.
Step 2: Unwind wire from spool and straighten
Next, unwind a length of wire from the spool that is a little longer than your wrist measurement. Clamp down on the wire with your nylon jaw pliers, and run the pliers down the wire a few times to straighten.
Step 3: Cut wire
When your wire is straightened, use flush wire cutters to cut to the length of your wrist measurement. For a loose fit, add a ½ in. / 1.3 cm. to the length before cutting.
Step 4: Bend wire
Use your nylon bracelet bending pliers to bend your wire into a circle shape.
Step 5: Create a full loop on one end
Use your round-nose pliers to bend one end of wire outwards, so that it forms a full loop.
Step 6: Create a half loop on the other end
On the opposite end of your wire, use your round-nose pliers to bend the wire outwards so that it creates a half loop. This will be the clasp for putting on your bracelet.
Step 7: Attach your rhinestone connector
Use your nylon jaw pliers to open the full loop. Slide your rhinestone connector on, and then close.
Step 8: Use half loop to close
Slide the other side of the rhinestone connector onto the half loop to close.
Now that you've created one bracelet, why not make a whole set? Try using different sizes and colors of connectors for even more variety.
