I created this shop to share my passion for beautiful, useful things and to upcycle found objects.
Growing up in New England with a mom as an antique dealer, helped to shape my interest in home décor and antiques. It was always a humorous “battle” between my parents as to who would get to indulge their weekend passion. Some of my fondest memories are of driving to the coast so my dad could go sailing for the weekend. Along the way it would become a game. If my mom spotted a yard sale sign we would have to stop, but if my dad did, he would distract her and speed up.
My mom grew up in an era where keeping a home was taken to an art form. Her creative force and willingness to try all things artistic, from quilting and sewing to drawing, stenciling and crafting provided a safe environment for my own artistic expression. Taking a nod from her years of sewing recital and Halloween costumes as well as prom dresses, I experimented quite a bit in the 80’s spending time at the army navy store and local thrift shops. I loved looking at the old dresses at the flea markets and often tried to combine the old with the new.
Now my mom and I are at a place where we can join forces and antique and thrift together again. While she is interested in beautiful linens and fine china, I find my interests differ. I love glassware and things from the sixties and seventies. I love California pottery and anything with an environmental bent to it, such as treasure craft. It has been said that I can’t pass by a mushroom motif without debating how badly I need it and thanks to my daughter I am a sucker for owls. My fond memories of my sisters of Delta Phi Epsilon are remembered each time I see an object with an iris motif. I like all things useful such as vintage Tupperware and anything in the shape of a container.
Now that I live in Florida, I am discovering an entirely different style of décor from Miami’s Art Deco to Saint Petersburg’s Casual Coastal Style.
This shop was created to share my passion for beautiful, useful things. I look forward to inspiring and being inspired by my fellow Etsy shop owners. At night Igo to bed dreaming of pink Pyrex and upcycling vintage lace and wake in the morning excited to see what the new day will bring. I look forward to experiencing this journey with all of you.

Welcome to my shop! It will be my pleasure to keep the tradition going of passing along great vintage finds and keeping them out of the landfills!

*All items are sold AS Is and As pictured.
**Please keep in mind that most vintage items are previously owned and have been used or displayed for the past 20-99 years and some aging can be expected. Also due to their often personalized or hand crafted nature, the manufacturer or artist may unintentionally produce imperfections in the product which often make them unique.
***Feel free to email me ahead of time with any questions or concerns. I can place an item on reserve while we work out the details. Thank you.
*****Feedback/Reviews: Please contact me before leaving a review if there is an issue. I do my best to resolve or come to an amiable agreement for all parties involved. I rely on this shop as my sole income for my family and like Ebay, a negative review can REALLY damage my shop's reputation. The review should be based on accuracy of description of product, customer service, communication etc. and NOT on shipping. Please remember once the package leaves my house I am no longer responsible for its welfare. I do the best I can packing and have had very few shipments break. See my reviews as a reference. The post office has informed me that unless the buyer pays a $10 handling fee, the items will be stacked and dumped dump truck style from one location to another. They simply don't have the resources to handle each package with care or read the "fragile" or "this end up" wording on each package.
***ACCOUNTS AND EXPIDITES- I ship primarily with USPS and ship the majority of my items Priority Mail which includes tracking and insurance. If you request the item be shipped Standard Mail, (if that is possible given the items weight, size and shipping location) you, the customer will assume all risk if the package becomes damaged or lost.
****I ship to the address provided on your account. Please check you address and make sure it hasn't changed. I am not responsible for paying your reshipment fee should you have the wrong address on file, but I often will discount the re-shipment fee when possible as a courtesy to you.
SHIPPING PRICING---All shipments are calculated based on the USPS postage calculator by package size and weight estimates after packing and are shipped from postage code 34698. I am in the process of converting all of my shipping over to calculated. That said even calculated gets it wrong; sometimes overcharging other times undercharging. I do not make a profit off my shipping.
Any shipping overages in excess of $2 will be refunded after the package has been shipped out.
*****If an item is an odd size or weight the shipping charge may need to be increased in order for the sale to make sense. In these cases I try to meet the buyer half way so we are both making a compromise.
******UPGRADES---If you would like your item faster please let me know. If you have an account you would like me to use let me know.
****COMBINED SHIPPING-- is available for purchases of multiple items. Because it is difficult to estimate in advance the exact combination, I refund after the items have been shipped as sometimes it makes sense to place them in the same box and sometimes the items can become compromised doing that. Overages will be credited back to the account you purchased the item with whether that be credit card, debit card, gift card or Pay Pal account.
*****INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING-- is difficult to estimate. What might cost $30 to go to Canada would cost $45 to get to England and $90 to go to Australia. It all depends upon weight, box size and distance, so the initial quote I give is usually in the middle. I am happy to work with International buyers to get the package there the safest most economical way possible but just like everyone else I am often bound by the price structure of the USPS, hands down the cheapest way to send international. Often this method does not allow for affordable insurance or tracking. The only way to track the item is through a customs number.
******Customs duties and fees on international orders are the full responsibility of the customer.
*******I am happy to include little notes and ship the items straight to the recipient for free. I do not provide gift wrapping at this time.
Returns and exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
Returns and exchange details
The majority of my items are insured, so most refunds are provided by USPS insurance or an alternate provider. Make sure you take good, clear accurate pictures of the damaged item, the box it was shipped in, and the packing material used. I add insurance to almost all my orders.
*******USPS and UPS do not refund the cost of shipping in the event of damage, only the purchase price of your item. I am not responsible for the cost of shipping due to damage.
Due to the inherent nature of vintage wares, all items are sold as is. I try my best to describe the condition of every item I sell and will not accept returns unless the item is damaged during shipping.
In the event that I have missed a SERIOUS flaw in my description of an item (such as a MAJOR crack or chip), I will provide a full refund of the purchase price and shipping if you provide me with pictures of the discrepancy and ship the item back to me at your expense. Refunds will be processed once we have received the returned item.
