Vintage Mid Century Home Decor, Furniture & Housewares
While AGoGoVintage may have only opened here on Etsy in September 2011, I started selling vintage home decor & accessories on eBay back in 1999. Years later I expanded and opened a brick n mortar store in an up & coming neighborhood in the city. Unfortunately, when the economy tanked, the neighborhood never turned completely around so after about a year, the shop was closed.
My personal favorite era is the 1950's through the 1960's. I especially love Mid Century Modern, space age, Danish and Eames era designs. While that is my favorite, you will find items from the 1920's to the 1980's.
Every weekend I hit antique markets, estate sales, auctions, flea markets, yard sales, the goodwill, junk shops.....you name it! Then I'm researching, photographing and listing items for all of you!
This is all done in my 'spare' time. By day I run my boyfriends motorcycle shop and take care of our 5 year old Lab Velvet and 3 year old Pug/Chihuahua mix Tiki. There's never enough time in the day, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm very lucky to do what I love and want every single day!
Be sure to check back often, I try to list something new every day. Thanks!
Owner, Picker, Packer, Photog, Etc. Etc. Etc.
I am Chris. I've been collecting, buying & selling vintage/retro furniture, home decor & accessories for over 17 years and am just as addicted now as I was then!

"When a buyer navigates to the Shipping & Policies tab on one of your calculated shipping listings, he or she may enter a US ZIP code or non-US country in order to generate a shipping cost for the item that is specific to his or her location.
The price that is shown here will be for the least expensive shipping method you offer that is eligible for the total weight and dimensions of the item. "
The shipping department (that's me!) is dedicated in processing your order as quickly, efficiently and accurately as possible. All orders are processed once received and packaged with care. During the busy holiday season (think Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.), turn around time may take an additional 5 - 7 days so keep that in mind when ordering.
Want to pay less for shipping? Or need it even faster? Please contact us prior to purchase with address and zip code and we'll gladly let you know what else is available.
We ship to Canada, Japan, Australia and Europe. If no shipping rate is shown on listing page, please contact us prior to purchase with your address and we'll forward you a quote/estimate. Once item is packaged and it requires additional postage, you will be emailed a 'Payment Request' invoice via Paypal for balance. Item will only ship upon full payment of postage fees.
Just an FYI, in my 17 years of shipping internationally, I have only experienced 1 lost international package in May of 2010.
International buyer agrees to take responsibility for any tariffs, duties/GST, legal issues involved in purchase/delivery. We have no knowledge of the actual duty fees enforced by your country. Customs delay may occur and unfortunately, we have no control over this. Due to this, please allow up to 4 - 6 weeks for international delivery.
Returns and exchanges
Used/vintage/antique items are sold AS IS so please feel free to convo and ask questions before purchase. We do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations. Pictures serve as part of the items description and show items condition. If a stain or dirt is not mentioned yet visible in the photos, this is considered 'AS IS' condition and is part of the description. Convos are answered as quickly as possible, usually no longer than 24 hours.
Refunds will only be given to items that have been damaged in transport or are grossly different than described. Please refer to policy on damages below. In the rare instance a cancellation is needed, a restock fee of 20% will be deducted from purchase price.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please check your package as soon as it arrives to verify all is well. If something does get damaged in transit as a result of shipping, contact me immediately via email or Convo through Etsy. I will need to see the damaged item before claim can be started via pictures sent through email or returning said item.
Please save the box and all packaging supplies which include peanuts, bubblewrap, etc. for claim inspection. A claim will be filed right away. At times, the claims examiner may need to see how the item was packaged and if packaging material is not present, the claim will be denied and seller will not issue a refund. Once claim is approved, the buyer will be refunded. Depending on item and/or damage sustained, the item may need to be shipped back to seller before the claim can be processed, this is all up to the shipping carrier used.
Insurance is strongly suggested for International shipments. If insurance is not purchased and item is damaged or lost in transit, a claim will be filed with the USPS. This process cannot be started until after the package is in transit for 30 business days. A refund will be given when the claim is approved by the Post Office, not before.
Unfortunately, AGoGoVintage cannot guarantee the approval and/or time frame of any claim.
If the unfortunate does happen and a package goes missing an investigation will be initiated. Depending on the carrier, service used and situation, it may make more sense for the destination address to start the claim process. Refunds will only be issued once claim is approved by carrier.
Merchandise that has not been picked up or whose shipping arrangements have not been completed, will be considered 'abandoned' and will be disposed of, donated or resold if 120 days have passed. If other arrangements have been agreed upon by both parties, this does not apply. We list items so they sell and this opens up room for new merchandise. When items are abandoned we lose precious time and space. While it doesn't happen often, it does happen. Thanks for understanding!
