Antique Spanish Haberdashery
In the attic of an old hotel, in an old piece of furniture, whose original use is now a mystery, we found a huge supply of buttons. As sewing is my favourite hobby, I was encouraged to take them.
The buttons originally belonged to a haberdasher that closed back in early 1960s. The hotel owner thought she might use some of them one day, so she took them up to the attic. And so they spent there the last 50 years or more...
I thought it would be impossible for me to use even a small part of this treasure (there were virtually thousads of them!), so I decided to share them with people whose passion is also sewing, and who love vintage.
And that was only the beginning of my button adventure! I have met many amazing people both on-line and in the real world, who encouraged me to go further and seek for more buttons. Now my shop features vintage supplies from different decades of the past century, unused and vintage. You will find buttons made of different materials, like metal, glass, celluloid, galalith, mother of pearl, and some impressive vintage buckles as well!
I have opened another shop with more modern supplies, both buttons and buckles:

Frequently asked questions
All listings include detailed information on the dimensions of each item. To see it, please, click on 'item details'.
I wrap my products carefully in bubble plastic, which comes from recycling (I use the one that comes with the books I order). Occasionally the envlopes are treated very badly by the post office and the buttons may get loose from a card, but no other damage has ever been reported.
What if my order is not delivered
For different reasons your order may not be delivered. This is usually due to problems with the address, or some local weather conditions (I had buttons retruned from flooded New York City). Very occasionally they may be simply lost by the post.
In this case I offer to send the buttons again, if available, or to issue a full refund, shipping included.
However, before you become alarmed, please, study the estimated shipping times. The delays sometimes have to do with customs in your country, and I really do my best to make it clear for them what is inside each envelope.
There is always a tracking number for each order, which you can check on www.correos.es or your local postal service.
As etsy no longer details the tax information, if you require an invoice with the tax information detailed on each product, please, contact the shop and such document will be issued.
If you need your item(s) sooner than the estimated delivery times, you can request your order to be delivered by a courier company. Contact me for more details and the estimated cost. You wil probably have to pay extra, though.
Custom and personalised orders
As you can imagine, I have many more buttons than those posted currently in my shop so if you need something in particular, do send me a convo. I may have exactly what you are looking for.
Also, contact for any alterations in the button number, as I usually have a few more.
