So, why not open an online shop?
I (Natalie) learned of Etsy in 2009 and was so excited about a site devoted to handmade and vintage. I had just returned to college for another degree, this time in Science Middle Grades Education. The first was in Business Administration. I had worked in accounting for 13 years. After company mergers, downsizing, etc. academia seemed like a great idea. Well, after graduation the unexpected happened in 2012. I got married. We started a vineyard, and I worked as a substitute with the hopes of being hired full-time among many applicants. The drive was a bit of a distance, and selling online became more and more appealing.
Long story short: my background in business and love of treasure hunting and making led to a new venture. I crocheted to ease my uncertainty and nerves. Road trips became business trips, consigning in shops, selling patterns and vintage items, and realizing that this could really be a thing.
My sights are set on unique items and finding "food" for the creative souls and nostalgic hearts. I love the people I do business with and appreciate them so much.
Natalie's obsession besides part-time treasure hunter is crochet. So much so she earned certification in 2015 from the CGOA Masters of Advanced Stitches & Techniques program. Creativity and nostalgia easily manage to happily coexist. Happy, happy!
When Dr. C (Botany dude) isn't working in the gardens and vineyard, he is a picker, fixer and creates from wood in his shop. Oh, on the occasion that we get snow, he makes snow cats too.

Pixie is the real boss. She is really good at supervising.
Bob is like a shadow, always there to lend a paw.
Weenie, the Elder, just watches in amusement.
