From Hobby to Business
Cutting and polishing rocks has been a longtime hobby of mine. I love the excitement of cutting open a rock and seeing the design that has been hidden inside it. Once you cut one stone, you just have to see what's inside the next. Before long, you have a pile cut that needs to be polished. If you have been slabbing, you have lots of material for making jewelry or for tumbling. If I have just been cutting them in half, I have lots to polish on my high speed sander. Sometimes I cut thicker slabs so that I can make desk sets or other projects. There is no end to what you can do. When you have been doing this for a while, it's only natural to start a business as a way to sell off some of the beautiful items that you have made (after all, you can't keep everything).

Accepted payment methods
NOTE: In order to reduce the number of shipping profiles for all the different items I sell, I use three profiles. For out of country purchases, the shipping cost may look higher than what you might think it will cost. For all orders, if the actual shipping cost is lower by at least $1.00, I will refund the overage on the shipping cost (rounded to the nearest $).
NOTE: Bulk orders. Overage on shipping cost will be refunded once I have packaged your items up and mailed them. There is no good way to set up profiles so that this does not happen on bulk orders. My goal is not to make a profit on shipping cost and to refund the overage on shipping and handling back to you.
Customers are responsible for any fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping & purchasing to their respective countries.
I enclose an invoice with each order. If you do not want an invoice enclosed (I.e. Shipping an item as a gift), please add a note on your order so I know you do not want one.
Returns and exchanges

Cancellation of order: Orders can be cancelled up until the time of shipping. If you decide to cancel your order after I have shipped your order, return the items unopened when you receive them. You can do this by marking the unopened package, "Return To Sender." If you open the package, you will be responsible for paying the return shipping.
